Anybody Out There
When did compassion become so rare
Today’s world substantially encompassing despair
Too dependent on artificial intelligence
Forced to adapt to only what assures convenience
How can we get back to our natural order
Live off the land and dwell fresh drinking water
Is there anybody out there
Can anyone hear me
Does anybody care…
Mother nature is exhausted
There has been a lot of emotional wear and tear
Unnecessary wars still occurring, talk about unfair
Folk's still yearning for justice and peace
And maybe even just a goodnight’s sleep
Some living check to check, not a penny to spare
Subconsciously awaiting financial and mental repair
Is there anybody out there
Can anyone hear me
Does anybody care…....
