Another Wet Echo

There’s a raindrop hammer on a skylight pane And it’s driving me insane This nasty weather is a constant pain Has it always got to rain Someone has the answer Ask a necromancer Could it just be something fey I don’t know the reason Could it be the season What a way to end the day I always thought that if I fought and caught at that I sought This madness in my hammered head would hide and slip away Slow this clatter Change the beat Let the storm be kind It’s really just a human race The rhythm’s in my mind Running on........... .......empty The title's Ol' Scouse (and one of my favorites)
