Another Way Out

The world seems to work in mysterious ways Light from the candle can hold darkness at bay I feel this new purpose not like anything before I feel this new peace grow I reach out for more. Life today seems much like a high wire act Staying the course for there’s no turning back Trying to move forward without looking down It’s such a long way back down to the ground. Life presents problems yet there’s always a way out The candle lights the way past the shadows of doubt The sun always returns from the darkest of nights Giving us another chance to perhaps get things right. Life is what you make of it if first you have hope Faith provides the strength so you are able to cope As the world still changes peace grows inside me Balance, faith and hope become the tools to be free. So I close my eyes and dream of something better Just because it’s rains you don’t have to get wetter I search for the meaning of what life is about It always seems to provide another way out.
