Another Sunset Poem

Many engage to share, impossible phenomenon, the changing face of our mother star, and the celestial painting of time: the vivid grey of mid-noon clouds, cracked like concrete in the later hours, revealing the milky fire of still burning life in the evening sky, not colors you can paint your walls with, hardly recognized by the eye except for memory in nature, salmon pink- the divine flesh of Gods too far to grasp spilled on the common ocean of the stratosphere now getting deeper and deeper, until finally drowned, transparent and you can see for miles, other stars and other sunsets
