Another Point of View
Many years ago, with the west still wild,
I lived happily as a carefree child
In North Dakota, the Flickertail State
To which only the hardy emigrate.
You might like my home state or maybe not,
Extreme weather was either cold or hot.
Its residents are robust, sturdy folks,
Who often are the butt of uncouth jokes.
There is a fact that is undisputed,
I am sorry now that I uprooted.
More millionaires per capita live there
Than can be found in any state elsewhere!
