Another One Gone

My heart aches at how much young folks like us have lost. We've lost so many friends, so many family, and so many people. And most of them to this streets When will this stop. When will we learn to just love each other? We are the same people. We are all here for a purpose. Why must anyone life get cut short. Why do we lose people we love and care for to ignorance? I wish I could change things so all this can stop but it takes more than me to realize this. When will we as a whole realize how messed up this is? Rest easy to all the folks in my life I've lost. I know yall looking over me and keeping me strong and safe. Help us all find our way yall. Cause there needs to change. It’s not just whatever anymore.
