Another Day In the Universe
Didn't ask
you why
In case you
are wondering
whether or not
to answer me
It's just
another day
here in
the universe
if you can't find an
excuse
not to meet me
then, let's get
together
and
join
forces
in this moment
(which has outlasted
so many moments)
The dream which
blossoms
in the sun
is something
you must contend
with
For lights in the
distance
are signaling
us
and we must
understand them
as best we
can
Eyes are watching us
let's not disappoint
them
by our inaction
It's just a
show after all
In the sunlight
you will
find what
you want
Have patience, friend
This day in
the universe may
last longer than
you think it will
Let's move while we can
Our part has
yet to
play itself out
For you see
in this garden universe
We do have
a role of
some importance
to play
