Another Chance
It's getting harder to be cool.
Hide and seek is a game I never used to lose.
Daylight comes a lot faster than it used to.
I've never seen a full moon,
like the one I see in you.
I'll make it through like I always do,
you haven't killed me yet,
but I'm giving you another chance.
All my friends have tired faces,
their bodies are like jelly,
their heads are like bricks.
Everyone has too much space.
Everyone needs a smaller bed.
We never watch the sunrise,
but we feel it on our backs.
We can't go to sleep because,
we haven't finished sinning yet.
We'll make it through like we always do,
you haven't killed us yet,
but we're giving you another chance.
Hide and seek was a game I never used to lose,
I was so cool.
But I've never saw anything like the thing I saw in you.
