Another Chance

To my beloved dog, Rocky: What I only wished for most was another chance to see your glance another chance to see your dance as I walked in that door. You came into my life when we were both young and healthy we were learning together it was going to be a great life for us. Life threw me many harsh twists and turns so I was incapable of noticing what you were requiring because I was struggling too. I didn’t recognize the severity or the frailty that came over you though you tried to show me many times with your expressive eyes. Then you lost your ability to walk and I began to talk; I told you I loved you I tried to take better care of you but I was belated in doing so. I failed my loyal companion and it was an irreplaceable love lost when I arrived home too late that somber day I watched you take your last breaths and then you went to death. With the unfathomable pain of losing my beloved dog, Rocky I cry out everyday God Please Another Chance!

This. Hit. Hard. A great piece for a great companion. I’m sorry for your loss and know how hard it is to lose a loyal companion. I wish you well.
