Anna

Her only fear hides in the fridge calorie after calorie of pure evil Her only salvation lies in the gym treadmill after treadmill of pure bliss Her only tear cried in the dark drop after drop of pure misery Her only friend inside her head word after word of pure torment Her only relief stares back in the mirror image after image of pure disbelief Her only proof can be read on the scales pound after pound of pure evidence Her only savior the thing she fears most bite after bite of food

yes kevin i understand it goes deeper than this and all of my poems represent my life experiences and this is an issue which has closely affected me and therefore felt i should write about it as this illness affects so many people love, amy-eve

there is a deeper issue linked with this poem john it is not just about someone who cannot resist food (temptation) but about a mental illness which not many people understand love,amy-eve

Great work. There are many of us and I'm sure there will be more who connect with this. We all ought to print this and affix it to out refrigerators. I'm reading on. ~<><
