Animals and Love

Animals teach us to love They excel at all the simple things Eating Sleeping Reproducing but They are no good at complex things Making money Reading books Painting great art Playing the violin Making out income tax returns Addition Subtraction Multiplication Division Building machines of war When we ask animals to do any of these complex things They look at us with such curious eyes Do nothing We value them for their unobtrusive simple ways Feed them Give them a place to sleep (often on our own bed) Pet them Pet them PET THEM! If this aint love I'm a rooster's comb and cackle!

Animals are awesome, we can learn so much from them, if they could talk, we would find they are more compassionate, intellegent and amazingly true, nice write > James

I love this Daver, so cute! Animals are so special and we can learn a lot from them and their innocent simplicity. Thanks for the kind congrats on "Little Yellow Socks," they were very appreciated. Have a wonderful weekend :) Love, Amy

Animals are great, a 4 year old said "Love is when your puppy licks your face, even after you've left him home all day", that says it all huh?.....Aleera

GREAT poem, Daver! If animals were anything but simple, we probably would love them as much as we do. Oops, someone needs a pet!

Daver this poem is oh so true - wonderfully written piece - Be totally honest or Chihuahua sleeps in-between my wife and I - i took her to get her nails clipped and the lady cut to close and she attacked my nose - Put thirteen holes in it that bled like there was no tomorrow - great poem - God Bless, MJ
