Anger

Anger So often kept on such a tight leash Once in a while I just lose control More than once this beast Has knocked me to my knees Forgiveness is prayed for Help is asked for Yet I still cannot have full control. It's what makes me yell and fuss, Cut and cuss It causes such sorrow Things to live for I must make up or borrow. I bury my life in the valleys Created by a blade Aces and eights are a dead man's hand I wish I had them all throughout the land I wish I had the guts to finish what I start To end it all Because I don't The snake creeps up my spine Causing love and hate to intertwine.
