Anger
Anger
So much anger inside of you
At times i don’t know what to do
I watch you drink and then pass out
I just want to scream and shout
You can pretend all you want but i know you see
How all of this is affecting me
You yell and scream to prove a point
Never think of how i feel
You seem to think the louder you talk
The more i’ll understand
What you don’t see is it hurts me
That you think that i’m so dense
All the words you say to me
Would make just as much sence
If given in a Quieter tone
Instead of going on and on
You seem to think that life is bad
But look at all you have
You have a son who cares for you
Even when he’s hurting too
You have a daughter
Smart and bright
Who is willing to fight
Friends and Family who are in your life
I just don’t see how you call this strife
So many people don’t have what you have
I know that it’s hard
Sometimes you don’t want to carry on
But all you have to do
Is look deep inside you
You are the maker of your own fate
Don’t let yourself be consumed by hate
Michael and I care for you
But we have to take care of us too
We want to help and make things right
We try and try with all our might
But you just turn your head away
Not wanting to see the pain
Make your choice and make it soon
Before it is too late
Don’t just let life pass you by
Cause I’m telling you, it just might
One day you’ll wake up and we’ll be gone
Everything you hold dear
We won’t look back
Won’t feel bad
Just wipe a tear away
Because you do affect us in every way
