Angel of Mercy
Dear angel of mercy, come and set me free
By removing the rope from my hanging tree
Why they treat me so badly with contempt so ill
I’ll never understand them, I never will
In a place full of hatred my hopes they do fray
So I’m packing my bags for I shall not stay
To sway in the gallows of their disdain
That place in which they apply their pain
True intentions you see, they never show
Tis for their pleasure? I do not know
Help me severe the noose I’ve fashioned for me
Please cut me loose precious angle of mercy.
