Angel Babies
Centrifugal forces spin cotton candy
Feathery light forming carnival magic delight
Wrapped in thin strands of white pink blankets
Colors of blues swirling all about the edges
Like baby angels who float down from heaven
Rolled into tumbling balls that fall
That bounce on delicate daisies
Softly, sweetly, on the leaves at yellow landings
Innocence who sleep between the petals with a yawn
Clear wings spread into perfection at an early age
Angel babies watch over us in flight when they awake
After a time, when quiet calms the laughter
Never tiring of being beautiful or bashful
They turn into sleep on downy pillows
Cherry cheeks radiating luminosity
While a train whistles in the distance a good night
