Andromeda

'Neath the moonlight, Standing still, Chained to rock, Against my will, Staring at the ocean deep, That seems to me like eternity, I strive so hard to free my chains, But even as the moon doth wane, I still stand, Chained to that rock, And my strength begins to fade, Every crashing wave I hear, Brings on bitter, lonely tears, I try to tell myself that Someone will take me away, Away to a better place, But as my consciousness falls astray, I start to despair, That someone else, Will never come to save me from my lair, But then I hear a voice, That tells me to hold on, Just a little longer, She said she won't be long, Then I feel my chains are gone, I'm wrapped in loving arms.
