And this too will end like a poem too abrupt leaving you cheated out of a feeling you swore would last forever our world is sunrises and sunsets and all that falls between glimpsing beauty in the passing moments our lives are sparks then flames and embers amid the untold eons of whatever it is that this time is not we cannot ask to be born to this we are thrown hands bound before the crowd to writhe or to stand we are helped or are helpless
