And She Was Gone
"The world just got to her"
That's what I heard her say..
A woman who tried so much
To keep her daughter in the right direction
But just couldn't
The world got to her
Life,
Everything which lies within
Washed her away
And she left to someplace new
Who knows where she has gone
How she got there
The world gets to us all
We all change,
Shift places
We are all lost beings
Trying to make sense of confusion
