And She Screams
An explosion ,great inferno! ,
She runs out…
And she remembers and
runs in again ,
Her marriage vows…
For better, for worse ;in sickness and
In health , in time of sorrow and happiness ,
Oh! Harry! ,fire! ,fire!! .
It’s her screams that wake him up
from his deep sleep ,
He opens his eyes to see smoke
all around the room ,
coughing and staggering he seeks for his angel ;
As her voice vibrates
through and through…
She continually screams his name ,
As she moves up the stairs ; her garment
gets engulfed in the inferno ,
She screams for help as she’s encircled by fire ,
He jumps out through the window ,
Looking for his angel .
Her cloth burns..the fire becomes violent ,
The smoke chokes her as she slumps ,
Her heart..beats faster than a stallion ,
As blood drains from her burning skin , she smiles…
On hearing the voice of her love, calling…
She smiles…
Joy mixes with pain as her eyelids close ,
And every thing goes blank..
