Hi Carrie. This is a wonderful poem with great imagery and feeling. Those last two lines are strong and touch something within me. One of the great tragedies of Americas history. This is a 7 and will go into my favorites. thanks for sharing, my friend.... Robert.

Dear Carrie Love the native feeling I get from this poem, I'm part native american, and wish their were more works of this type here on the soup to read, loved the natural flow of this, and I think it will do well in the contest, I'll cross my fingers for you my friend, take care and I am glad I stopped by to read this tonight, cheri
