An Open Heart

An Open Heart Money can not fill in an open heart It must be covered, stitched with love Only oceans of tenderness with softly touched emotions By you and no one else to reach their boundaries conclusions Which flood the senses endless in their turning motions An open heart must sometimes be exposed to reason Held in warm hands that know the treatment Placed back where it belongs along with life A road that bends, not always visible at first glance To find and serve the cause of love in high esteem A mystery repeats itself between each beat and pulse Muscles relax, restored, tell their story to the future Covered, stitched, handled with such care and grace Mending gently, left to recover An open heart, warm and friendly, filled with love Rises to the occasion, back in place where it belongs
