An Old Story
An old story
Create from the beginning something that never ends
A story of enchantment and intrigue and always suspends
A passage to another place then twists and bends
The world is forgotten when you read and forget it’s pretend
Tomorrow will take care of its self now today your mind I will lend
Truth is a good place to start but along the way you will meet friends
Some will be good to you the kind of people you can always depend
Others will take from you like a thief dressed to please never offend
Open your mind to everyone and there’ll be nothing left penned
The origin of the species is to rise and fall and rise and fall and wend
Offer a solution to the problem which you can’t because inherently you are not perfect and in this you will find the end.
