An Old Man's Pain
In solitude he is thinking of them all
Children rather go to shopping mall.
Babies they were blabbering
Or became sick and were crying.
How hard it was to nurture them
Now it's not the love garden?
Outside cold wind is biting his skin
Worse, his pain is biting within.
"Why, Why have they left me alone?"
He wished they were never born.
His heart growing pale like the moon
Yearns to speak to someone soon.
He's so down and grown so weak
They are so unkind, whom to seek.
Trees stand like silhouettes up the sky
And only his faithfull dog sits beside.
Passers-by just turn to see him
Like bright stars above are peaking.
"Are we not all born to die?"
"Why does loneliness make us cry?"
He sits still thinking why he's alive
All his friends gone, he survives.
At last, his heart offers a prayer
He wishes his wife were together.
