An Ideal World

She peers through the window, eyes facing city buildings and sky scrapers. Lonely she feels, though a loving family wraps around her life. No one understands how she sees things; Upset when flowers are cut, and put in flower vases- she wonders why flowers are cut from their gardens, and put in flower vases filled with water, so that they can live a little bit longer, before they wilt. “Why do you worry so much about that?” her mum asks. “Imagine if my head is cut off from my body, and put for display in some alien world exhibition for beauty….” she replies. She doesn’t eat meat at all – animals feel pain when they face the knife or axe, for the sake of humans’ fleshy cravings. She believes in a world with no flower killings, animal slaughter, or sky scrapers that steal trees’ homes…. Date of Entry: 30/08/2015
