An Eye For a Shooting Star
I wonder a little
Perhaps just a little far
A dazzle, a fickle
An eye for a shooting star
Looking far beyond
Perhaps just a little near
A distance to belong
Simply of love to fear
The naked mind thinks
The naked body cloaks
When the day promises dreams
The night will perhaps take notes
Unable to help myself
I disabled my existence
Blending to fit too well
And my mind no longer yearns
So near yet so far
Where did my mind travel?
Before the end of a shooting star
Was the moment to marvel
