The grace that shone upon you When you first smiled on the earth, Is the same grace that led you back To where your heart has been called to. A dove that has settled on you, Made its nest within you, Sunk its voice in to you, The butterflies in your hair Laugh as the wind comes Brushing its way past you, The sunlight that bathed Your skin each day Still favors you today To glow along with its light. The stars pushed to you a gift, A present fashioned by God, Smiling as you took your instrument And made merry with it to the world.
