An Essence of Being Rich
I May Be Poor; But Rich on
Things Money Can't Buy:
People loved me, for I have
True Friends Who Believed
On My Cause, Not For who
I am and For What I can Offer;
I Have A Loving Wife and
Good Sons, Who Stood
By My Side, United On A
Simple Abode, Struggling
But Enduring The Tests Of
Life, Not Causing Maladies
To Our Fellow Beings;
I have a Strong Relation
With God, Always Reaching
Out in Prayers, for Guidance,
Being Remorseful of My Sins
And Striving to Do What is
Right for His Church; and,
I have Peace of mind with
Proud Stature; Walking Tall
On Streets and Dark Alleys
Without Fear and Anxiety,
For Although A Sinner I am,
I Enjoy the Luxury of A
Guilt-Free Conscience.
I Am Poor, But Happy and
Contented On An Enduring
Simplicity of Life, By
Destiny and Personal Choice.
