An Early Father’s Day Poem to Me

Let me pat myself on the back before it’s too late, for doing a good job. Maybe they never finished school, steal, not work, abuse alcohol, use sell and spent time in jail for drugs. 'None of them have killed anyone yet'; 'that could be proven'! Let me pat myself on the back before the youngest one’s trial comes up next month, and this poem can’t be written.
