An August Mourning
clear skies of passionate blue
a pictuesque sun shining through
warmth to families of here and now
their happiness creases my brow
empty hearts shall bask alone
wondering why the sun ever shone
upon the shores of a hapless soul
whose only light became death's toll
hugs and kisses I didn't give
those memories, sharp as a Scythe
yesterdays have come and gone
yet my August Mourning carries on........
for HER memory
