An Artistic Spirit
Staring at the vibrant colors of the vagrant clouds
that dazzle in the glory of the evening sun
renders a serene spectacle that a painter contemplates
to convey a realistic landscape that remains undone.
His brush is more generous than the view,
he must accomplish something rare but also precious...
that panoramic illusion below a sky ever blue
by showing the boldness of an artistic spirit that he only declares.
Will he be able to finish his masterpiece
and rest a brief moment to realize it's magnificence
with its melancholy seen in a field of sunflowers
and on thoughtful face s of horse riders?
He'll be pondering his peaceful death in fading twilight
and without pretense he'll be tasting the true essence
of what lies ahead remembering how warm was sunlight:
illuminating a universe so gradiose and immense.
