An Apple Tree
Dreaming the dreamers dream
Smoking the pipers pipe
I sat, and we sit
In our garden
A place
where moments counted we
Not we moments
A place
Where the apple tree stood
and will stand, as long
as these words are read
and even longer
A tree
like any tree.
No further from us
than ourselves
No more or less
profound than
the being of being
That shines visibility
When the earth shadows
have moved, flickered
When
Flames of darkness and light
Synchronised
with the tide of sun.
have circumnavigated the tree
When shadow sets shadow
When all is shadow
When all that is
is
but
night sky,
ground
and
a stars reflection
In a dew drop
