An Angel's Touch

When we lose someone close to us They're really not gone at all They speak to us through an angel's touch Listen closely and you'll hear their call For the spirit of those we love Lingers behind to play A melody of memories You can cherish every day So when the gentle breezes blow And music fills the air Remember the angels who touch your life And know they're always there

Thank you, Michael, for your kind words. I am sorry you have lost your Dad and sister and glad you have wonderful memories to cherish. I have a tradition of giving my poem with a set of Woodstock Wind Chimes (my favorite being the Chimes of Lun) to friends and loved ones when they have had a loss. Time and again they have encouraged me to publish my poem, thus my entry here. Feel free to do the same in hopes of offering solace to others during their moments of grief.
