An Angel In Disguise
As the blazing sun sparkles on the glass panes
She stares beyond, no dire straits.
The contented cat grins and bear it
Her subdued smile show no pains.
Loving his mistress the cat’s purrs transmit.
Outside the barn a fervent life awaits
What is she looking for I cannot apprehend
Waiting for her boyfriend or some other news
Her relaxed face doesn’t bare bad expectations
She is controlled and firmly she does stand.
The cat’s gripping arms gives her satisfaction
While within her heart she’s bemused.
