An Angel Came To Roberts Hall
An angel sat at the foot of my bed
And laid his hand upon my leg
After I fell asleep from a night of tears
In a lonely hell and fetal position.
I never saw his face or form,
But I felt God's overwhelming peace
And the place where his hand had lain.
In the morning when I woke afresh,
I saw the place where my angel sat;
Realizing that the next year would hold
The answer to my loud cries and tears,
I made my bed and packed my bags
And unlocked my bare room door.
Going outside, I felt born again again
Thanking God for Roberts Hall's womb.
