An Alabama Riot

An Alabama Riot By Elton Camp When one thing comes to be true, Hysteria, almost chaos, will ensue For the only thing that it does take Is to see just a single snowflake How to deal with snow, we don’t know Our reaction will be certain, though It’s to the store in a wild, mad dash Clutching credit card or some cash All the bread and milk will disappear Long before the snowfall draws near From the shelves, batteries we jerk To make sure our flashlights work If a blizzard should happen to come We will be prepared, and then some At most, there’s a dusting on the grass And then the “winter storm” will pass
