An Absurdity of Sky Castles
To scheme and plunder - practised stealth
Cheating others - greater wealth
Sacrificing righteous self
Castle in the sky
To study deeply - gaining knowledge
Spending life as if in college
Outside world do not acknowledge
Castle in the sky
To gamble deep on crooked games
Risking all - our loss reclaim
Swapping life for debtor's chains
Castle in the sky
A slight, a snub, an unjust slur
Justice, vengenge, we have sworn
All is lost from total war
Castle in the sky
To base your faith on mere hearsay
Hailing prophets - let us pray
Until at last their flock betray
Castle in the sky
To toil and labour without rest
Employment junkie - be obsessed
Squeezed of life then dispossessed
Castle in the sky
Castles here and castles there
Building castles in the air
Foolish ways become nightmares
Castles fill the sky
