Amnesia
I’m recalling the white dress during homecoming eve
Portraits, flowers, we sleep, we eat
I greeted and fare welled with kisses to leave
Phone conversations were constant and ever more after beeps.
I remember the plague
Riding while living a page, kissing above stage at the talent show
The places of lust, a nurse’s first aid
When you loved me a while ago
Cancer threat, notes would set tones in everyday
You always acted like the tears went away
Stories were soothing to the feeling in my arm
On my chest the poems rest the buckle up alarm
I’m recalling jealousy, mistrust, rumors and dieing flowers
Getting caught in the shower and walking around Afnorth
The barbecue, the amusement park, picnic, and break up
