Amaranthine Skeletons

Therein, laying dormant, veils of darkly reposed secrecy 'neath foamy seascapes' frenetic passages, languishing below sunken treasures' false facades of reticently rolling shrouded bluffs, shaded blood obscurely hued of impetuous intensity in unceremoniously bound covert convolutions, a million ancient undisclosed shadows hidden, notwithstanding combative rumblings of death's unwelcome sycophancy, depths of centuries' old unparalleled stories, whence hush-hush undulatory influx of defiant upsurges and turbulence reside, that which only the winds of indiscretion, clandestine spirits & gods could surmise ...whilst privileged moons watch over amaranthine skeletons

A darkly painted portrait of death, Paloma. Richly worded and visually stunning. The downward movement of the words seems as if their is a sinking sensation. Maybe that's just me, but I agree w/San and Chris. Love this poem though. Much love to you, dear.

Almost makes me think of the Titanic disaster, the endless realm of skeletons scattered amongst the silent sandy bottom,, secrets and stories lost to the murky seas, hopes and dreams drowned beneath turbulent angry waves, while only the moon on its privileged perch watches, far away from harm. Ghostly Paloma, creepy and eerie and amazingly written.

It's like where I love to be most of all, the beach, with stanza like waves to and fro my wheels, and caves and deep blue water in the distance.

You are such a wordsmith, Paloma! I had to look up Amarathine. From Greek, amarantos- unfading? There is a plant also called Amaranth. You always put my mind to work. Thank you and good night sweet poetess!

Wow Rick, thanks so much, you made my day! Unfading works, I meant it as 'endless or everlasting' but I like that too.
