Am I Losing You?

Each year we grow a year But the expenses grow more wholesome Each year the talk grows weary A duty nonetheless Now my emotions Have less composure I cannot comprehend The depth of this problem If there is one at all Perhaps you’ve grown tired Of this tedious intimacy Or a bore am I? Your patience worn out It’s the answer we all dread It’s like a hangman’s noose intimidating you Oh Daniel, Daniel I’ll only ask once – (dear me) Tell me Am I losing you?
