Always the Same
Your heart is a mystery,
as a canyon is deep,
the sunlight caresses,
many secrets from me.
Generous with gifts,
always something new,
where are your memories,
hidden from view.
A smile of betrayal,
reveals such pain,
always nothing,
always the same.
