Along Came a Spider

Along Came A Spider Author: John Ginesi When we all think of spiders we think of them as a annoying insect that bothers us around our homes or in the garden The spider is one of the most intelligent insects in the world. They have the ability to build their own home without the help from other spiders and in very quick time. The spider web is a masterpiece in engineering design, glistening when the sun's rays shine across the gossamer threads as each fibre resonates when the wind blows through it or when unsuspecting prey stumble into it. When the spider needs food he hides at the corner of the web waiting for an insect to stumble into this elaborate trap, the spider then strikes down his victim; spiders can co exist with everyone if they are allowed to be left alone. Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

Your informative poem provides us with food for thought, John. All creatures serve a purpose in life; we have to give them what is their due. Regards // paul

Hi Jan, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, this was my final poem for the present time, I started here 2 years ago, and decided to call it a day however I had 4 poems in reserve it took me 9 months to post these, however if you go to my poems you will be able to read all my previous works here, I may come back later and do some more but I am undecided when I will return, all the best.
