Alone and not lonely

This topic can cause a debate
But the thought of it is true.
One can be alone and NOT lonely
Another can be among a number
Of friends, yet feel all sad and blue.

Don’t get me wrong there are good friends,
Who shares, cares, and quick to make amends,
Some so called friends it’s sad to say, can
Manipulate, thwart, and ruin your day.

Alone doesn’t have to feel lonely, if you have
Inner peace that can be found in God alone.

So well said. ...and yes....I agree. Alone does not mean lonely if you have inner peace...thoughtful piece. Carrie
