Alone

Alone Alone in a world thats always on my case No time to breathe in this never ending race I reach out my hands in sheer desperation Not one soul notices in this over populated nation Alone Lord I've been good, I help when I can Now I'm in need but I'm in sinking sand Not even a rope or a much needed life line No helping hand, neither a penny nor a dime Alone Have I been lying to myself all this time? Were all my good deeds just a lie? To give and to receive seems like a myth to me And where is this good natured human that I have yet to see? Alone No more karma or just world beliefs Because success transpires only for the selfish I give up on this inter-dependence nonsense Today, I live for me friends Alone...not lonely
