Alone

In a dark room This is what you have feared Your family long gone Your smile, has smeared Your spouse you have lost She died, to cancer Then out of the shadows, You found the answer The closest thing to you A rope, around your spine A chair supports your feet But for how much time? Not much, indeed The vision of life Was not as you planned Better off this planet Better, to be damned So a kick of the chair Insured a loud *snap* Eyes, as a pearl So, empty and white Looks to be at peace Now one with the night
