Almost 5

My eyes open in a dark room The clock is telling me 5 approaches There to my right I see the outline Of you Hair draped across your sleeping face Gently I pull my left arm from under the covers and brush your hair back Exposing cheek and ear My lips catch your cheek as I see your eyes flicker awake Gently my lips brush your ear You feel my hand start to knead the muscles in your left hamstring through your winter sleeping clothes Then reach around between bed and quads to wake the front muscles up too "Time to go" I whisper As my hand now works your right leg. The other on your back Reluctantly you arose yourself off for your morning workout I slide over into the warmth you left as I hear you getting ready to leave Breathing deeply your aroma As I drift back to slumber Now with dreams of coffee and your return
