Allways the Lady Katty

When I first saw her she was the picture of grace All clean, perfect, all made up Southern Girl, southern grace, black face Beautiful face, beautiful grace best in the place She makes hearts race Daughter of a preacher man In conversation she told me at one time she use to sing But some how she's been lead away Away from religious practices; but not religion and more. A Widow, a wife, a weak foolish man's desire. She uses her wits to start small fires in the heart of men willing to carry a torch for her as she speeks soon she'll say "I have to go." then they'll say "Can I buy you a drink?" Johnny Walker Red to match her red finger nails red lips, and a little later red eyes I've seen it done a million times It's never fails This is how she does it Pointy fingers, pointy toe's and pointy noes everybody knows sleek dress, beautiful breast forget the rest here's the best (One of three Bessemer women)4-1-97

John, the woman you describe may seem like "a weak foolish man's desire," but we are all entitled to admire beauty, aren't we? I see this woman so clearly through your verse. As for "Feline Survivor," there is no way I can forgive those who abandon creatures who see them as their loving providers. Thanks for reading and sharing your work as well, Carolyn

She must really be something, John. I like the lines "she uses her wits ...........carry a torch". This write must be attached to an interesting story! Love, Robin
