All We Know

All we do is run Our days pass in a blur Bruised and battered Bodies grow and minds shrink And hope is gone The days pass in a blur Whole pieces of ourselves are gone Heart dies Shrinks humanity

Stop to smell the roses they say. But as you say time is often too short for such luxuries. But keep on trying, and just maybe you will be able to save your sanity. You've written a very promising poem, keep it up.
