All That You Can See

When you're lying next to her And holding her so tight Does it even cross your mind This just isn't right Do you even think of me All the times we shared The fact I stayed so long with you The only one who cared But suddenly she's in your life I'm nowhere to be seen All the things that we had planned What a waste it's been If I could see you one last time I'd like to ask you this What is it that you like so much What is it that I miss What is it that I should have done What would have made you stay But now it's pointless finding out You've nothing left to say I wish we could have worked this out I wish you still loved me But now that she has come along She's all that you can see I'm sure she always looks her best Whenever you are there Was it that I just was me I wasn't even aware Sometimes when I looked a mess I really didn't know Sorry for feeling just so safe You wouldn't let me go I always wonder to myself Just what was I to you Was I the one just on the side If only I had knew I never should have trusted you Believed a word you said Why do I deserve this pain This should be you instead Maybe she's just more like you She's probably more your sort I hope she makes you happy She's everything you thought For if you did it all for fun And threw it all away You'll certainly feel the scale of it When karma comes one day
