All Seems Well Again
Rain descends like heavens anguish on streets
Where souls cower in doorways, shivering.
A mindset pervades the city – that’s mine.
More by urgent need ignore the deluge!
I think of magic and incantations.
I think of prayers and words of power.
I think of souls whose time is not their own.
I think in awe – divine intervention.
Sheets of rain wash the streets like water
On a tray. The cities tilting as a sea
Saw and dizzy notions gather in pools
Along its gutters – divine intervention?
Just then the rain stops abruptly, clouds pass
Mindset disperses – all seems well again!
