All Is Well
All is Well.
Death is nothing at all: I have only slipped into the next room. I am I and you are you. Whatever we were to each other, that we still are for nothing has changed except, I have gone into the next room. Call me by my old familiar name and picture me as I was.
Speak to me in an easy way, as you often did before. Let there be no difference in your tone, for I know it as it was! Wear no face of solemnity or sorrow. Laugh as we laughed when we shared jokes together. Play, smile, think of me, pray for me! Continue to live your life but let my name forever be spoken without sadness, regrets or a shadow on it.
Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
I am waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near; maybe just around the corner. All is well. Remember me as I remember you!
